To some extent corporate vehicle hire is no different to hiring any vehicle, other than the fact that most corporate customers require, whether they realise it or not, a coach car or bus of a certain level of quality.
Many corporate coach hire enquiries revolve around transporting visitors or guests of the company, these could be journalists covering the launch of a new product, visiting businessmen/businesswomen looking at purchasing the companies products or services to head office executives visiting a local branch. Alternatively the coach could be required to transport the companies own staff, either to a conference, training, or team building event, or even a company away day or outing.
Whatever the reason for the coach hire, the quality of vehicle that turn's up to do the coach hire contract reflects on your company.
We understand the requirements of the corporate client and can convey your requirements to the coach companies in a language/terminology they understand.
Where required we can organise corporate vehicles in a variety of configurations, seating capacities and levels of comfort, ranging from high end luxury "Team Coach" type coaches offering tables, air conditioning, ample leg room, leather upholstery, DVD and Monitor(s), drinks, dining, toilet and hostess facilities to standard executive class coaches none of which will reflect your company in a poor light.
Imagine the first impression that the journalist get of your company or products, new and old, if some old rust bucket on wheels turns up on the day. Who would get the blame if a gleaming new coach turns up at the airport to pick-up visiting executives, which 10 minutes earlier had dropped off a bunch of screaming kids who had just returned from a day trip to a sweet factory, free samples, sticky seats and all.
Worse still imagine the look of horror on the MD's face when the gleaming coach, with the requested drinks facility and hostess turns up on time and in pristine condition to transport the board of directors their families and guests to Ascot for the day and the hostess starts walking up and down the coach knocking out plastic cups of lukewarm tea for 50p a beaker and the coach driver starts screaming obscenities at some motorist who has just cut him up.
Don't laugh, this happens and it could happen to you! irrespective of the Coach company it's reputation or price.
Why does this happen, well there are several things that can create the above scenarios, but the main problem is lack of 'understanding' and communication between the coach company and the hirer. For example what the journalists perceive as a rust bucket, the coach operator sees as the best in his/her fleet, a thing of beauty, with hardly a blemish on it.
You negotiated hard and got what you considered to be a reasonable price, the coach operator sees little if any profit being made by his £100,000 vehicle because you have badgered him/her out of £50 and the only way the vehicle will recoup the lost profit is to fit in another job.
It is common practice for coach companies to provide a hostess who's wages are the profits made from selling drinks to the passengers, when you requested a hostess and drinks facilities it is unlikely to of crossed the coach operators mind that you wanted both these included in the price
