This family-run Hotel has 15 well- appointed bedrooms (12 en-suite, two family rooms & one honeymoon suite) and caters for meals until 9pm most evenings with a varied selection of hot and cold meals.
The Royal Hotel is conveniently located 12 miles from Inverness in the picturesque conservation town of Fortrose on the Black Isle.
We provide our own bicycles for the hotel or hiring to enjoy the varied countryside - maps are also available.
We are also just one hour from 14 golf courses and Glen Ord Distillery is nearby. The Hotel overlooks the 13th Century Cathedral where in August each year, the St. Boniface fair takes place.
In the distance, the Kessock Bridge provides the backdrop for activities such as Golf, Sailing, Hill-Walking, Cycling, Horse-Riding and the varied wildlife - including the Moray Firth dolphins.
Our dining/meeting room is spacious enough for small functions or conferences (up to 50) away from the hustle & bustle of town, yet close enough for easy communication.
The Royal Hotel restaurant uses our own home-grown produce with locally supplied meats and seafood.
